Time is money, right? Yes and no. Unlike money that is renewable and cyclical, time is finite and THE most precious commodity that should be valued more than gold. If managed properly the net benefit will yield both, an increased bottom line and streamlined workflow.

Here are some practical Business Hacks to help fill your time bank.

1). LIMIT ACCESS HOURS

Times were much simpler just a few short years ago, at least for the majority of us in the business world. It seems that gone are the days of running business purely on instinct and experience. Thanks to the tech-boom we have ushered in an era of perfectly manicured campaigns, spreadsheets, and painstaking calculations of ROI. The principle of collecting data to make informed decisions is nothing new, however, it has been recently propelled into the mainstream and become an absolute necessity to remain relevant.

2017 is moments away. As with years past, the top of each New Year marks a new beginning. As Antoine de Saint-Exupery prophetically said; “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Now is the time to start preparing for your success.

Although the phrase and platform have become familiar, we are still in a learning curve when it comes to understanding the right way to communicate our message to a broad audience without offending someone or hurting your personal or professional brand.

1). Have a plan. Set short and long term goals for the year.

Whether you’re a start-up, or an existing enterprise nothing will lend to your success more than a business plan. Most entrepreneurs shy away from this critical step because they are intimidated by the process or don’t know where to start. The first step is to outsource the task (see systems below) and let someone more experienced to do the heavy lifting so you can focus on your business. Your job is to manage the content and make sure your vision comes through.
